Blind a shock Arsenal target
According to the Sunday People, Arsenal are lining up a move for Manchester United defender Daley Blind.
New United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly unsure on whether Blind is a player he wants at the club and that has alerted Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who is now ready to swoop to sign the versatile Dutchman.
Newcastle scare off Everton with Wijnaldum price tag
Everton have been linked with a move for Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, but have been shocked by the £25 million price tag put on the Dutchman.
The Sunday People are reporting that Ronald Koeman was keen on signing the midfielder, but that looks unlikely unless Newcastle drop their asking price. Napoli and Roma are also believed to be interested in the former PSV captain.
Barcelona watch Moreno
According to ESPN, Barcelona technical director Robert Fernandez watched PSV Eindhoven defender Hector Moreno in action for Mexico in their Copa America tie with Chile on Saturday evening.
However, he was unlikely to be impressed by what he saw with Moreno and his Mexico side going down 7-0.
AZ in talks for Friday
According to Africanfootball.com, AZ Alkmaar are in advanced talks to sign Lillestrom striker Fred Friday.
The website broke the news two weeks ago that the Nigerian youngster was close to moving to Netherlands and now revealed that it is AZ Alkmaar who are the interested club. The 21-year-old has netted 28 times for Lillestrom two years, and could be the replacement for Vincent Janssen, who is expected to depart Alkmaar.
