Van der Wiel set for Fenerbahce
Fenerbahce have confirmed that they are in talks to sign Dutch international right-back Gregory van der Wiel on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old is a free agent after leaving PSG at the end of the season and now appears to be on the move to Turkey. A short statement on the Fenerbahce website read, “Fenerbahce have opened negotiations with Gregory van der Wiel over a transfer,”
Fenerbahce join the race for Ziyech
According to Voetbal International, Fenerbahce are the latest club to join the race for Twente star Hakim Ziyech.
The Moroccan, who is certain to leave Enschede this summer, has already been linked with Middlesbrough, Galatasaray, Hertha Berlin and Borussia Dortmund this summer, but surprisingly still remains in the Netherlands.
Turkish media outlet Haberturk are also reporting Fenerbahce’s interest and state a €7 million fee.
Willems reveals talks
Jetro Willems has revealed that he has spoken to other clubs as he eyes an exit from PSV Eindhoven this summer.
The left back, who has already rejected an advance from Monaco, told VI, “I’ve spoken to several clubs, but not more than talk,”
Should no move interest Willems this summer then the Dutch international is open to extending his contract at PSV for another season.
Vitesse lose youngster to Everton
Everton have confirmed the signing of teenage defender Nathan Baxter from Vitesse Arnhem.
The Manchester-born youngster joined Vitesse’s academy at the age of 14 but has now decided to return to England after two-years in Arnhem.
Juric leaves Roda JC for Switzerland
Striker Tomi Juric has left Roda JC to sign a two-year deal with Swiss side FC Luzern.
The Australian joined Roda JC last year and scored seven goals in 20 league appearances, but was released from his contract at the end of the season.
