robben bNetherlands came away from a difficult atmosphere with a 2-0 win, which knocked their opponents out of the competition, after goals from Arjen Robben, and Wesley Sneijder.

Full Ratings:

Jasper Cillessen 8/10

Making his international debut after Michael Vorm was injured, Cillessen was excellent throughout the match, and although he was rarely troubled, he made one important save when called upon.

Daryl Janmaat 7/10

Another solid performance by the Feyenoord right back, who played well defensively, and going forward throughout the game.

Daley Blind 7/10

Largely untroubled at the back, made a few key interceptions, but rarely got forward.

Bruno Martins Indi 7/10

Solid at the back, and gave Turkeys forwards no chance to attack with his physical presence. His partnership with Ron Vlaar worked well.

Ron Vlaar 8/10

A very good performance from the Aston Villa defender, who controlled his defence perfectly throughout the game.

Wesley Sneijder 8/10

Impressive performance from the Galatasaray man, who took his goal well, and was unlucky not to score more. Chose not to celebrate in front of Turkish fans due to his club

Jordy Clasie  7/10

Solid in midfield, and played the simple passes really well allowing the ball to move forward quickly, and the full backs to join in attacks.

Leroy Fer 7/10

Added a physical presence to the midfield that was lost without Strootman. A very tidy performance by the Norwich man

Arjen Robben 8/10

Scored the opener with a lucky free-kick and went on to put in a very lively performance. At the heart of all Netherlands good attacks.

Jeremain Lens 7/10

Looked to join in the attacka but had a rather quiet game on the left wing as Netherlands sat back.

Robin van Persie 6/10

Quiet game for the all time leading scorer, and was substituted at half time for Dirk Kuyt.

Substitutes:

Dirk Kuyt 7/10

A workman like performance and was heavily involved in the second goal by setting up Sneijder. Did his job very well.

Jeffrey Bruma 6/10

Came on for Bruno Martins Indi in the second half. Didn’t have much to do, but put in a solid performance.

Memphis Depay 3/10

Came on in final minute to make his debut, had no time to make an impact but big moment for the PSV man.
