BeThe home side started the game on top, but gave away a penalty on 25 minutes as Rasmus Bengtsson was adjudged to bring down Ogbeche in the box. Cambuur captain Ramon Leeuwin made no mistake from the spot to make it 1-0 and send the Grolsch Veste crowd into shock.

Twente nearly equalised minutes later with Roberto Rosales slicing a shot just wide from inside the box. Winger Youness Mokhtar fired over, and Luc Castaignos hit the post with a sliding effort, as Cambuur went into the break 1-0 up.

Ten minutes into the second half, Twente did find their equaliser as a free-kick was headed into the net off the bar by Luc Castiagnos.

The game was then turned on its head on 60 minutes as a hopeful shot from Shadrach Eghan squirmed past Cambuur keeper Nienhuis to give Twente a 2-1 lead.

With ten minutes left Bengtsson made up for giving away the penalty earlier in the game by heading a corner past Nienhuis to make it 3-1 to Twente.

Its now 10 Eredivisie matches unbeaten for FC Twente, and they are right in the contention for the Eredivisie title, as they sit four points behind Ajax, but with a game in hand. Cambuur remain just above the relegation zone in 14th.
