According to Voetbal International, FC Twente has reached an agreement with Everton to loan Dutch youngster Nathangelo Markelo.

The 21-year-old signed a new two-year deal with Everton last week, but can still not count on minutes in the first-team.

Markelo will spend next season on loan with FC Twente, should he pass a medical in Enschede.

The right-back, who can also play in midfield, joined Everton from Volendam back in 2017, but has only appeared in friendly matches.

At FC Twente he joins his younger brother Jahnoah Markelo, who plays in the youth teams.
