FC Twente and AZ Alkmaar were both involved as the third preliminary qualifying round draw for the Europa Conference League took place on Monday.

AZ already knows that they will face Bosnia and Herzegovina’s side Tuzla City in the second qualifying round. The first leg takes place this Thursday with the return next week.

If AZ Alkmaar reach the new round they will face Scottish side Dundee United in the next round. Dundee United finished fourth in the Scottish league last season.

FC Twente was also in the draw and they will face either Racing FC Union of Luxembourg or Serbian side FK Cukaricki.

The third qualifying round matches will be played on the 4th and the 11th of August.
