FC Twente made it five wins in a row with a 2-0 win over Groningen in Enschede.

The home side got off to a perfect start on 16 minutes, with loanee striker Zakaria El Azzouzi poking in Hidde ter Avest’s cross at the front post to make it 1-0.
Groningen should have equalised before the break through Oussama Idrissi, but the attacker sent a perfect Lorenzo Burnet cross wide.
In the second half, Chinedu Ede went close twice before Jerson Cabral eventually sealed victory for Twente by firing powerfully past Sergio Padt from Kamohelo Mokotjo’s pass.
Its now three straight defeats for Groningen, who find themselves 10th, while Twente rise to 11th.
