FC Twente has confirmed the signing of Lazaros Lamprou on loan from PAOK.

The Greek winger joined PAOK from Fortuna Sittard last summer but only made ten appearances during the campaign.

Lamprou now returns to the Eredivisie, signing for FC Twente on a season-long loan deal. However, FC Twente has the option to make the deal permanent.

The 22-year-old told the FC Twente website, “FC Twente is a big club. That is one of the reasons why I signed, the size, the history but especially the supporters. I want to show myself and help the team with goals and assists. I’m really looking forward to the season.”

Lamprou becomes the fifth summer signing for FC Twente after Vaclav Cerny (FC Utrecht), Kik Pierie (Ajax) and Nathangelo Markelo (Everton) on loan and Gijs Smal on a permanent deal from Volendam.
