Its been a busy day at FC Twente with Mateusz Klich sealing his move to Leeds United before his replacement, Haris Vuckic was confirmed.

Klich was only signed by FC Twente last summer from Kaiserslautern, but the 27-year-old midfielder has now left to continue his career in England with Leeds United.

The Championship side had their first bid rejected, but finally got their man for a fee believed to be around €1.7 million, with Klich signing a three-year contract.

Twente were then quick to announce Klich’s successor with former Newcastle United midfielder Haris Vuckic joining on a free transfer. The 24-year-old only made seven Premier League appearances for the Magpies in eight years with the club, and has recently been loaned out to Rangers, Wigan and Bradford City with varied success.

Newcastle released the Slovenian this summer and Vuckic has now signed a three-year deal in Enschede.
