FC Twente’s midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo says his new team are perfect for him after making his debut at the weekend.

mokotThe 23 year old South African was signed by Tukkers from PEC Zwolle following the sale of Dutchman Quincy Promes to Spartak Moscow for a fee of €1.5 million.

This is what the midfielder had to say about his debut against SC Cambuur in which he helped his team grab a draw from a losing position, “I feel like I had a great debut and managed to have an instant impact on the game.

“The coach complimented me in front of everyone on the way that I managed to calm the game down, so I’m happy, but I’m even happier to be at FC Twente in general. I honestly believe that they are a club that suits me perfectly.”

Mokotjo was a revelation in Eredivisie last season with PEC Zwolle, achieving one of the highest passing rates and completing 91% tackles. He also helped his club win their first major trophy in their history.
