According to The Athletic, FC Twente are about to sign Norwich City winger Christos Tzolis on loan.

The Greek forward moved to Norwich City last summer for €11 million, but struggled in the Premier League and could not prevent their relegation to the Championship.

According to The Athletic, Tzolis will travel to the Netherlands on Thursday to undergo his medical before signing for Twente on a season-long loan deal. There is no mention of a clause to make it permanent.

Feyenoord, Stuttgart, Club Brugge and Cercle Brugge were also interested in Tzolis, but FC Twente has won the race to sign the 20-year-old. He will challenge Virgil Misidjan for a starting spot and offer Ron Jans more attacking options for the upcoming campaign.
