FC Twente will allow one of their central defenders, Andreas Bjelland or Rasmus Bengtsson leave this summer.

bengtsson dkThe club are in a dire financial situation and must sell before buying any players, with Dusan Tadic and Luc Castaignos already linked with exits.

According to TC Tubantia, Bjelland is being eyed by Bundesliga club FSV Mainz. The 25 year old is known to the new manager Kasper Hjulmand having played under him at Danish club FC Nordsjaelland. A Transfer fee might be a sticking point for the player who has also extracted interest from other clubs.

Rasmus Bengtsson’s time at De Grolsch Veste Enschede could also be coming to a close after the captain responded “No Comment” to the question posed over transfer speculation.

The 28 year old has previously said that he will stay at the Tukkers if he can’t find the right club for himself.
