FC Twente have been going through a financial turmoil for quite some time and it now looks their problems will now be featured in a documentary.

The documentary is to be made by TV author Erik Dijkstra and if everything goes to plan it will be aired in and around October.
This is what Dijkstra said about why the documentary is being made,”If I try to explain to my friend what is going on at Twente, she will not understand it,”
“Fraud, debt, bad deals and shadowy structures, there is no more rope to tie together. When Tadic deal also came back, I myself did not understand anything anymore.
“I want to show what has been done and because I am somewhat familiar, I am fortunate that I get to play a leading role in the film. On behalf of all the supporters sometimes it becomes almost philosophical, because the more you go, more you wonder. Who’s the club anyway? These are all those people, all those fans. It’s not a toy of megalomaniacal directors.”
