The Rotterdammers went into the game with Dylan Vente, Justin Bijlow and Lutsharel Geertruida, but still without Cheikh Toure.
Feyenoord had the biggest chance of the first half, but Vente’s strike came back off the post. In the second half, Geertruida also hit the woodwork, while at the other end, Touaizi Zoubdi missed a glorious chance for Manchester City.
The draw means Feyenoord stay in second place and two points ahead of both Shakhtar Donetsk and Napoli. Feyenoord host Napoli in two weeks, knowing a win will seal their place in the next round.
