psv u19The first half in Eindhoven saw both sides cancel each other out, but PSV eventually took the lead in the 63rd minute when Sam Lammers send a header into the net from Ramon Pascal Lundqvist’s free-kick.

After the opener Wolfsburg pushed forward and they got their equaliser in the 90th minute through Putaro and it seemed PSV would have to settle for a point. However in the final seconds substitute forward Joey Konings pounced to earn PSV their first win in the competition.

The win is not enough to move PSV off the bottom of the group, but they are now level on points with Wolfsburg and one behind Manchester United, who drew with CSKA Moscow.
