A resilient Go Ahead Eagles came from 2-0 down to earn a last minute 3-2 win over Utrecht.

After a tepid first half the match exploded in the second period with five goals and a stunning comeback from the visitors.
Three minutes into the second half Utrecht had the lead as Gyrano Kerk bundled the ball into the net after a cross from Rubio Rubin on the right hand side. On fifty minutes Rubin was once again the provider, this time sending an excellent pass through to striker Ruud Boymans who fired into the bottom corner.
However Go Ahead Eagles wouldn’t crumble and four minutes after falling 2-0 down Deniz Turuc brought them back into the match, firing past Robbin Ruiter after cutting in from the wing.
Tommy Oar’s free kick hit the post for Utrecht before Go Ahead found an equaliser on 74 minutes when Bart Vriends brilliantly headed Jop Van der Linden’s free kick past Ruiter.
The match was heading for a 2-2 draw but with the last kick off the game Go Ahead Eagles netted the winner with Jeffrey Rijsdijk rifling a shot into the top corner at the back post.
Go Ahead Eagles move to 14th after their second win of the season, while Utrecht slip to 11th.
