This is what Ultee had to say about his decision, “I hesitated, because I’ve already been in talks with the club about my contract, I am now ready for a new challenge. That is better for me and for the club.”
Utrecht General Manager Wilco van Schaik said, “Ultee as the trainer has a long track record with us. We knew that he wanted to make the next step. We both agreed that it is better than going out together.”
