PSV Eindhoven boss Mark van Bommel has admitted Steven Bergwijn could join Ajax this summer but only if they pay the right price.

Ajax director Marc Overmars has already confirmed the club are interested in signing Bergwijn this summer. This was met by a strong message from PSV Eindhoven that they would not sell the winger to their rival.

However, that stance seems to be wavering and on Tuesday, van Bommel admitted that Bergwijn could leave the club for Amsterdam.

Speaking to VoetbalPrimeur, Van Bommel said, “We don’t want to sell him to Ajax. Look, if Ajax comes, and they pay the right price, then he will no doubt leave.”

Bergwijn is also being linked with Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Manchester United. PSV confirmed on Tuesday that they are yet to receive any offers for the 21-year-old.
