Van Bronckhorst stated that everybody involved with Feyenoord is proud of Karsdorp, who made his debut for Feyenoord in August 2014.
He said, ”I am proud of Rick Karsdorp as is everybody involved with Feyenoord because he came through the youth team.
”Due to his consistent performances, he has earned a transfer to a great club in AS Roma. It is an ideal scenario for Rick to take his first steps playing abroad at this moment in time.”
Karsdorp made a total of 101 appearances for Feyenoord scoring one goal. He was also part of the Feyenoord team that won the Eredivisie this season as well as winning the KNVB Cup last year. The full-back has earned three Netherlands caps so far.
