Feyenoord boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has hinted at the possible return of Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie to the club.

There have been rumours in the past week that the 33-year-old striker is interested in returning to Rotterdam and the club he represented between 1999 and 2004.
Speaking to RTV Rijnmond, Feyenoord head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst stated that the forward’s return is mostly rumour, but hinted that Van Persie could fit in with his squad.
He said, “He would certainly fit at Feyenoord. With his past, what he has achieved and how he still performs.
“These are the days of rumors, but I do notice after the championship and the stage (Champions League) you can offer that a lot of players want to come to Feyenoord. The next weeks will give it shape. “
