Donny van de Beek has confirmed he will not depart Ajax before the end of the season.

Van de Beek was heavily linked with Real Madrid in the summer but the move did not come to fruition.
The midfielder has now confirmed to Voetbal International that he will not depart Amsterdam in January should a club make him an offer.
He said, “I don’t want to leave during the winter break.
“I play here all season, I finish at Ajax this year. That gives me clarity and tranquility. I see what happens next. I don’t like to switch clubs during the winter break: you fight with a team for something and then you go to another club halfway through the season.”
“I am very happy that there is clarity now and that I am playing at Ajax this season. I can focus on Ajax and have a thick line under it. ”
Van de Beek is expected to sign a new and improved contract with the club soon.
