Netherlands women hammered Chile 7-0 in a friendly on Tuesday with Danielle van de Donk netting four times.

The tie against Chile was the last friendly before coach Sarina Wiegman names her squad for this summers World Cup.

She will have been impressed by her side that was far too strong for Chile from the start. Daniëlle van de Donk opened the scoring before Lieke Martens made it 2-0 from close range before the tenth minute.

Van de Donk made it 3-0 after a wonderful pass by Vivienne Miedema before completing her hattrick in the 28th minute. Miedema made it 5-0 with her 57th goal for Oranje before Shanice van der Sanden wrapped up an excellent half with the sixth.

In the second half, Netherlands eased off and several substitutions made it less of a spectacle. Before the end, van de Donk made it 7-0 with a header.

Next up for Netherlands is a friendly with Australia on the 1st of June before they head off to the World Cup.
