Sepp van den Berg finally made his debut for Liverpool in their 2-2 draw with Sporting club de Portugal.

The 17-year-old joined the Champions League winners earlier this summer from PEC Zwolle but his debut was delayed until FIFA cleared the move.

That clearance finally came on Wednesday and the centre-back made his debut in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Sporting club de Portugal. He entered the field in the last few minutes.

Georginio Wijnaldum netted in the game, while Virgil van Dijk also featured. Ki-Jana Hoever was an unused substitute.
