The 45-year-old agreed to make a one-off appearance for his former side VV Noordwijk in their tie with Jodan Boys on Saturday after the amateur club suffered an injury crisis.
The former Manchester United and Ajax legend showed that he still has what it takes as he kept out a penalty kick with a fine diving save. Van der Sar was eventually beaten by Mo Bellachen, but VV Noordwijk struck late to earn a 1-1 draw.
