Liverpool got their Premier League trophy on Wednesday after their 5-3 win over Chelsea.
Van Dijk then took to social media, and wrote, “Just a boy from Breda who became a Premier League champion. This is a dream come true, but also an opportunity for me to help every child in the world remember that anything is possible. Hard work and persistence! Don’t let anyone’s ignorance, hatred or negativity stop you from becoming the best version of yourself. Thanks to my family, fans, teammates and the staff. Liverpool, this one’s for you! “
The Premier League is the fourth trophy for Van Dijk after his move to Liverpool. The centre-back also has the Champions League, the club World Cup and European Super Cup. He also won two Scottish titles with Celtic.
