lvg outAfter a terrible run of form, the criticism of Louis van Gaal has been fierce over the past week and the media reported this week that a defeat against Stoke City on Saturday could spell the end of the Dutchman’s 18 month spell in charge.

Van Gaal watched on as his side slumped to a 2-0 defeat at the Brittania stadium, and afterwards the former Netherlands boss admitted his future is up in the air.

He told Sky Sports when asked about the pressure he is under, “That is now the big issue,”

“I try to do everything but the pressure shall be higher in higher every match, and we have to solve that problem.

“It’s more difficult because I am also part of the four matches we have lost, so people are looking at me. And I have to deal with that, but much more important is that the players have to deal with that because they have to perform.”

When asked if he still has the support of those in charge at Old Trafford, Van Gaal was honest, “It’s another situation, we have lost the fourth game so we have to wait and see.”

Manchester United host Chelsea on Monday, but will Van Gaal still be at the helm?
