Louis van Gaal has hailed Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola as the best manager in the English Premier League.

Former United boss Louis van Gaal has spoken to Sports Bild and praised the former midfielder, who played under the Dutchman with Barcelona.
He said, “Pep Guardiola is currently the best manager in the Premier League for me. Pep has made City a machine. He plays the football that I wanted to play with Manchester United.
“He has better players than I did at the time. For me, that would have taken longer. Unfortunately, I did not have the time for that. ”
Van Gaal was appointed Manchester United boss in 2014 but was sacked two years later to be replaced by Jose Mourinho.
