After seeing Memphis Depay star up front for Manchester United in their 2-1 win over Watford, Louis van Gaal believes he has found the attackers best position.

The 21-year-old has struggled out on the left wing so far in the Premier League, but with both Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney missing the game against Watford on Saturday, Memphis was thrust into the role of striker.
After only 11 minutes Memphis opened the scoring with a lovely close range finish and went on to put in a man of the match performance to answer his critics.
Coach Louis van Gaal now believes that the number nine role may be Memphis Depay’s best position. He said “In the first half, Memphis was superb, like Jesse Lingard.
“I think also this role for Memphis is the best one for him. He played it also in the World Cup for me when Van Persie and Robben were injured so I knew he could do it.”
