Marco-van-Ginkel-ChelseaThe midfielder has been out of action since having a knee operation in the summer but he was back in action on Monday night, playing an hour of Chelsea’s reserves 1-1 draw with Everton.

Van Ginkel will now look to prove his fitness to Chelsea boss Antonio Conte in a bid to work his way into the Italian’s plans. If not then a loan move in January will be expected with PSV Eindhoven already confirming they would be interested in bringing him back to the Eredivisie.

Van Ginkel joined PSV on loan last January and was expected to move back to Eindhoven in the summer before his knee injury struck.
