Despite being injured, Marco van Ginkel has been named in Chelsea’s updated Premier League squad.

Cesc Fabregas moving to Monaco in January has freed up a space in the squad, which has been handed to Van Ginkel.
The midfielder is still recovering after undergoing knee surgery in the summer, but is expected to be back in training this March.
The 26-year-old joined Chelsea from Vitesse Arhem back in 2013 but his time in London was dogged by injury. He has only made four appearances for Chelsea but can hope for some Premier League minutes before the end of the campaign.
The eight-time Netherlands international had loans with Stoke City and AC Milan before spending the last two seasons with PSV Eindhoven. He made 61 appearances in Eindhoven, scoring 31 goals and adding 10 assists.
