Three days after Utrecht knocked them out of the KNVB Cup, PSV headed to the Stadion Galdenwaard looking for revenge and after 15 minutes they had the lead with Santiago Arias finishing off a good team move involving Luuk de Jong and Marco van Ginkel.

PSV continued to dominate the home side in the first half, but after the break Utrecht grew into the game and through Ruud Boymans and Sebastien Haller they created chanced to get back into the game, which they wasted.
Phillip Cocu’s side move back above Ajax into top spot, while Utrecht lie ninth.
