KNVB President Michael van Praag has dismissed the idea put forward by German director Reinhard Rauball that UEFA should step out of FIFA.

In fact the 67 year old went on to call the idea a dead end; this is what Van Praag told AD,
“I find it a strange proposal I’m not even interested in whether it can work, but it seems like a dead end.”
Rauball, who is president of Borussia Dortmund and president of the Bundesliga had come out with the idea after FIFA refused to publish the full report on how world cups of 2018 and 2022 were allocated.
Netherlands themselves had put in a joint bid for the 2018 World cup along with neighbors Belgium.
