Marko Vejinovic has departed AZ Alkmaar to sign for Polish side Arka Gdynia on a three-year deal.

The midfielder spent six months of last season on loan with Arka Gdynia but has now made the move permanent after being told he was free to leave Alkmaar.

Vejinovic has signed a contract until 2022 in Poland, bringing an end to a ten-year spell in the Eredivisie.

He started with AZ Alkmaar but departed for spells with Heracles Almelo, Vitesse Arnhem and Feyenoord before returning to the AFAS Stadion in 2018.
