The goalkeeper expressed his desire to leave Feyenoord earlier this month after Giovanni van Bronckhorst confirmed that Brad Jones would remain the number one until the end of the season.

Vermeer has now been unveiled by Belgian Jupiler League leaders Club Brugge and joins fellow Dutchmen Ruud Vormer, Jordy Clasie, and Stefano Denswil at the club.

However, Vermeer isn’t guaranteed regular action with Brugge also signing Vladimir Gabulov earlier this month.
