Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena has hinted that he could be on his way out of the club this summer.

Vilhena came through the Feyenoord academy and made his first-team debut back in 2012.

Speaking to Feyenoord Magazine, the 24-year-old hinted about a departure,”I don’t want to say that it is too easy at Feyenoord now, but I have been playing in the first for seven years now and I feel it is time for a step up and a new challenge.

“I hope it will be possible in the future, but the feeling with a new club must be good, because I have always said that you cannot just leave a club like Feyenoord.”

Regular action is a must for Vilhena at any new club, “It makes no sense for me to go to a club that I don’t fit in or that I can’t play with.”
