During his pre-match press conference, Netherlands boss Dick Advocaat has confirmed that there will be changes for the must win tie with Bulgaria on Sunday.

Kevin Strootman’s red card in the defeat to France on Thursday means Advocaat will be forced into one change, with Feyenoord’s Tonny Vilhena confirmed to be starting by the coach.

Advocaat also stated there would be more changes but wouldn’t confirm who, “Furthermore, I’ll change something, but not too much again. Our midfield was weak in Paris? Yes, but there was more. But again, it’s about Bulgaria now and not about France anymore.”

Kenny Tete is fit again and is expected to start ahead of Timothy Fosu-Mensah, while AD believe that Marco van Ginkel could come in for Wesley Sneijder, who had a torrid time in France.

Expected Netherlands line-up: Cillessen, Tete, Blind, Hoedt, De Vrij, Vilhena, Wijnaldum, Van Ginkel, Robben, Promes, Janssen.
