In a game of few chances Vitesse Arnhem held Feyenoord to a 0-0 draw at the GelreDome Stadion.

Going into the match on the back of their Europa League success midweek, Feyenoord started the match brightly and Piet Velthuizen had to make a good saves to deny both Elvis Manu and Jordy Clasie in the opening ten minutes.
Feyenoord continued to create the better chances of the first half but Velthuizen denied both Lex Immers, and Jens Toornstra, while at the other end Bertrand Traore had Vitesse’s best chance, but Kenneth Vermeer made a good stop.
The second half was much like the first with chances few and far between, another Clasie long range effort the closest Feyenoord came to a win, while Vermeer denied Dauda late on as both sides settled for a point.
The point sees Feyenoord slip to 4th, while Vitesse are 12th.
