Vitesse Arnhem have announced Edward Sturing as their new head coach until the end of the season.

On the 29th of November, Leonid Slutsky stepped down after the 3-2 loss against Heerenveen. He was temporarily replaced by Joseph Oosting.

Vitesse have now announced the appointment of Edward Sturing until the end of the season.

The Vitesse legend has been caretaker of the club on several occasions and was head coach between 2003 and 2006.

The 56-year-old will be assisted by Goalkeeping coach Raimond van der Gouw and assistant Nicky Hofs.
