Fraser took over Vitesse at the beginning of last season and guided them to fifth in the Eredivisie and a KNVB Cup win for the first time in their history.

However, earlier this season it became clear that Fraser was looking to depart Vitesse at the end of the season. The club have now confirmed that no new contract will be signed by the coach.

Fraser said in a statement on Vitesse’s website, “I know Vitesse as a warm and professional club. Of course I will do everything I can to finish the season successfully, together with my staff and players.”

Vitesse currently sit eighth.
