Heracles goalkeeper Bram Castro was in fine form as his side held Vitesse to a 0-0 draw in Arnhem.

After their 5-1 loss to Utrecht last weekend, Henk Fraser decided to change goalkeeper with Remko Pasveer replaced by Jeroen Houwen.

Vitesse’s new stopper had a quiet first half as Heracles looked to sit deep and frustrate the hosts, who missed several chances. Castro made fine saves to deny Vyacheslav Karavaev, Mason Mount and Tim Matavz, while Matt Miazga headed wide.

In the second half, the game was more even but it was Vitesse who still had the best chances with Navarone Foor denied a goal by defender Robin Propper before Castro made a good stop to keep out Mitchell van Bergen’s strike.

Both sides settled for a point in the end which means Vitesse remain 6th while Heracles are ninth.
