Vitesse Arnhem left-back Max Clark is hoping to follow in the footsteps of former Hull City teammate Andy Robertson and is dreaming of a move to the Premier League.

In 2017, Robertson left Hull City to join Liverpool and he was replaced by Clark, who has since joined Vitesse Arnhem.

Speaking to The Times, Clark praised his former teammate, “Andy is now the best left back in the world. His progression and hard work show me that anything is possible. I work hard to go the same way as Andy.”

Robertson and Harry Maguire have both went from Hull City to big Premier League clubs and Clark is aiming to follow them, “How they developed … Great. For me it will always be a dream to be able to play in the Premier League one day.”

Clark is in his second year with Vitesse and has one more year on his contract. He was linked with a move to Liverpool in January but it never materialised.
