Vitesse Arnhem has confirmed the signing of Sassuolo defender Ryan Flamingo on loan for a season.

The 19-year-old Dutchman started his career in the youth sides of Almere City before he made the move to Italy.
Flamingo told the club’s website, “It is a great opportunity for me to play in the Eredivisie with Vitesse. I have been able to develop myself well in recent years and also gained experience abroad, which makes me feel ready for this step. I am looking forward to showing myself in the yellow-black shirt.”
The versatile centre-back is Vitesse’s fourth signing of the summer after Melle Meulensteen, Carlens Arcus and Ferro.
