ake chelAccording to Voetbal International, Vitesse scouts have regularly watched Chelsea’s reserve and youth teams this season, and have identified a number of players which they will look to loan this summer.

Top of their target list is 20-year-old Dutchman Nathan Ake, who is currently on loan with Championship side Reading. The midfielder, who can also play in defence has a contract with the Blues until 2018, but is unlikely to gain regular first team football for Jose Mourinho’s side next season.

Vitesse are preparing for a mass exodus from the club with Dani Mori and Jan-Arie van der Heijden’s contracts expiring this summer, while Zakaria Labyad and Wallace’s loan deals are up. Question marks surround the future of Piet Velthuizen, Kelvin Leerdam, Guram Kashia and Abiola Dauda, while Davy Propper and Marko Vejinovic seem on their way out to keep the club within the financial fair play rules.
