Vitesse Arnhem have confirmed the signing of Swiss midfielder Toni Domgjoni on a free transfer.

The 22-year-old has signed in Arnhem on a three-year deal with the option of a fourth. He becomes the club’s second signing of the summer after Ajax goalkeeper Daan Reiziger.

Domgjoni told the club website, “After four seasons and more than 120 games for FC Zurich, I thought it was time for a new step. After the conversations with Vitesse, I soon had a good feeling. I look forward to going into Europe with the club and performing well in the competition.”

Domgjoni has played 121 times for Zurich, scoring seven goals and adding nine assists.
