Vitesse have already welcomed midfielder Lewis Baker on loan from the Premier League champions, but Chelsea are set to send three or four more players to Arnhem. The latest is set to be Brazilian Nathan Allan de Souza, who joined Chelsea from Atletico Paranaense this summer for £4.5 million.
The 19-year-old midfielder was a star for Brazil at the 2013 U17’s World Cup, being named as the tournaments 2nd best player after his five goals led his nation to the final. Since then Nathan has made 13 appearances for the Brazil U20’s, while making seven appearances for Atletico Paranaense.
Chelsea hope that loaning Nathan to Vitesse will give him some experience of playing in Europe, while the Arnhem club are looking for midfielders after the departure of Marko Vejinovic to Feyenoord, while Davy Propper is set to join PSV.
Welcome to Chelsea. This is the best way for the young player in Chelsea to gain experience before join the senior team. Good luck nathan!
