The 24-year-old’s contract with Emmen expires this summer, and VVV-Venlo have swooped to bring in the forward.
Arias has signed a one-year deal with VVV with the option of a second. He told the club’s website, “The fact that a natural grass mat will now be laid only adds to the choice for the club but of course I opt for the total package, which also includes the ambitions and the playing method of the club. VVV-Venlo aims for a recognizable playing style, combined with passion and struggle to secure another season in the Eredivisie. “
Arias played for Groningen and Dordrecht before joining Emmen in 2018. He made 53 appearances for the club, scoring four goals. He also has seven caps for the Curacao national team.
