Peeters left the Ajax Academy for Real Madrid in 2014 and represented the club’s U19’s last season, making four appearances in the UEFA Youth League, scoring twice.
The Spanish giants don’t see the 19-year-old as part of their first team next season and instead of placing him in their B team, they want to loan him out. NEC Nijmegen was Peeters preference, but their director only offered the winger a trial, which he turned down.
Now it appears that the forward will join Eredivisie new boys VVV Venlo who have indicated to Real Madrid that Peeters is welcome at the club on loan. However, with finances tight at the club, they are hoping Real Madrid will sanction the loan for free.
