Te Vrede is fed up of being Feyenoord’s second choice striker and wants to leave the club this month, with the Rotterdam club willing to let him go for the right price.
Wigan Athletic are one of the clubs looking to sign the 23-year-old, and although they were initially looking at a loan deal, VI reports that they are looking for the money to make a permanent offer. Other clubs are also interested in the striker including ones from the Eredivisie.
Te Vrede has been with Feyenoord since 2012, but has only made 18 league appearances in which he has scored eight goals, while also adding three in Europe this season.
If Te Vrede does leave Feyenoord are interested in signing former Vitesse striker Mike Havenaar who is currently a free agent.
