Georginio Wijnaldum came off the bench to score twice as Liverpool stunned Barcelona 4-0 to reach the Champions League final.

Trailing 3-0 from the first leg, Liverpool were facing a huge uphill battle to reach the final.

Divock Origi gave Liverpool a 1-0 lead before the break but it was Georginio Wijnaldum’s introduction at half time that really turned the tie.

Nine minutes into the second half, Wijnaldum’s powerful drive made it 2-0 before the Dutch international levelled the tie with a header two minutes later.

Origi then sealed a sensational win for Liverpool with ten minutes left to seal their place in the final.

Virgil van Dijk and Wijnaldum’s side will now be awaiting the result of Wednesday’s clash between Ajax and Tottenham.
