Georginio Wijnaldum returned to the Liverpool starting line-up on Saturday and netted in their 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

The midfielder missed the defeat to Tottenham last week with a knee injury, but returned to the Liverpool starting eleven on Saturday afternoon to face his half-brother Rajiv van la Parra, who was in the Huddersfield line-up.

Liverpool were frustrated in the first half, but romped to a 3-0 win in the second period with Wijnaldum netting the third goal. The midfielder hammered a strike into the net off the bar after being set up by Mohamed Salah.

After the game, Wijnaldum said, “It’s always a good feeling to score a goal, and especially at the Kop end, I hope more will follow,”
